🍈 Galia Melon Overview
The Galia melon is a hybrid variety of muskmelon, developed in Israel in the 1970s by crossing the green-fleshed ‘Ha’Ogen’ melon with the netted-rind ‘Krymka’ melon. It was named after the breeder’s daughter, and the name “Galia” means “God’s wave” in Hebrew.
